It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a blog post, but this weekend felt like the perfect reason to bring them back. I finally had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the infamous Stonehaven wedding venue, and it was every bit as breathtaking as I imagined. From the architecture to the light pouring through every window, Stonehaven has a presence that feels both grand and intimate all at once. I’m excited to share a few previews from this beautiful day and give a small glimpse into what it’s like to experience a wedding here.
One of my favorite things about this day was how effortlessly everything came together. Sometimes all you need is a beautiful venue, and the rest truly doesn’t matter. Fill the space with your closest family and friends, let the emotions flow naturally, and you have the perfect recipe for meaningful memories. Stonehaven provided the backdrop, but it was the people, the quiet in-between moments, and the overwhelming joy that made this wedding unforgettable.
It was such an honor to document a wedding at Stonehaven, and I’m already counting down the days until I get to return again in April for another one of my couples. This venue is everything I expected it to be and more, timeless, cinematic, and deeply intentional. If these previews are any indication, Stonehaven is a place where stories are felt just as much as they’re seen.
