If you follow me on my socials you have probably already seen the shots from this session – It was a dream, a complete bucket list moment and session. Im not sure what photographer would turn down such an iconic moment, but it sure as heck aint this girl!!!
Here’s a lil planning and session day BTS. While planning this session, Taylor mentioned they’d take me up if I wanted and my heart dropped for a moment, and quickly I had the “Hell yeah I do” feeling – I helped plan outfits and we talked about which airport would have the best views – We decided Dauphin island would be gorgeous, little did we know, we’d be attacked by gnats as soon as we touched down…. One thing about me? I want my clients comfortable. throughout the entire process but most importantly, the photo process. and the gnat were so bad, I mean between shots I was apologizing and swatting them away while Taylor and Aaron ran away from them, lol. No fear, we had options, so we hopped in the plane and flew across Mobile Bay and had their session in Fairhope, Al!
I was smitten with my first experience on a smaller plane, getting to view the world beneath us as we flew- As well as the feeling of ” WOW this is my job”. I’m constantly preaching how rewarding this is and the many places it takes me, and even if I didn’t even leave the bubble of my local city, this is easily on the top of the list. I even threw in a couple videos of the evening that just make my heart flutter.
